These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to neuralnarrative.life and your use of advisory services provided by NeuralNarrative Inc. ("NeuralNarrative," "we," "us" or "our"). By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our website or services.
1. About our services
NeuralNarrative provides AI narrative intelligence advisory services from our Toronto, Ontario studio. Our offerings include generative content governance, NLP storytelling workshops, brand narrative architecture, editorial pipeline design, narrative AI briefings and enterprise storytelling programmes. We are an independent narrative studio — not a web design agency, digital marketing firm, SEO consultancy, visual identity studio or generic AI copywriting vendor unless explicitly stated in a written engagement letter.
Our advisory helps organisations structure stories, design editorial workflows and govern AI-assisted content production. We do not build websites, manage paid advertising campaigns, design logos or guarantee search engine rankings.
2. Eligibility
Our services are intended for communications professionals, programme directors, organisational leaders and industry practitioners who are at least 18 years of age. By using our services, you represent that you have authority to bind any organisation on whose behalf you engage NeuralNarrative.
3. Website use
You may browse neuralnarrative.life for informational purposes related to narrative intelligence advisory. You agree not to:
- Use the website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable Canadian law
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our servers, systems or data
- Scrape, copy or redistribute website content without written permission
- Submit false information through our contact form or misrepresent your identity
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the website or associated infrastructure
- Use automated tools to harvest contact information or programme descriptions for competitive resale
We reserve the right to restrict access to the website at our discretion for security or operational reasons.
4. Advisory engagements
Specific advisory programmes and services are described on neuralnarrative.life. A binding engagement requires a signed proposal or written agreement specifying scope, deliverables, fees in Canadian dollars (CAD) and timeline. Website descriptions are illustrative; final terms are set in the engagement document. We reserve the right to decline engagements outside our expertise, capacity or ethical boundaries.
Retainer programmes require a minimum commitment period specified in the engagement agreement. Early termination may incur fees for work completed and scheduled sessions.
5. Fees and payment
Programme and service fees are quoted in CAD unless otherwise stated. Payment terms are specified in the engagement agreement. Late payments may incur interest at the rate permitted by Ontario law. We are not responsible for currency conversion costs incurred by international clients. All fees are exclusive of applicable HST unless stated otherwise.
6. No guarantees — advisory disclaimer
NeuralNarrative provides information, analysis and recommendations for advisory purposes. We do not guarantee:
- Specific website traffic, search rankings, social media reach or content performance metrics
- Revenue growth, lead generation or business profitability from narrative programmes
- Accuracy of AI-generated draft content without human editorial review
- Regulatory approvals for published content in your sector
- Compatibility of recommended workflows with all third-party language model providers
- Successful organisational adoption of narrative governance frameworks
- Website design outcomes, advertising performance or visual identity results (we do not offer these services)
Narrative frameworks and voice parameters are tools for your editorial team. Publication decisions, factual accuracy and compliance remain your responsibility.
7. Generative content disclaimer
Our programmes may involve AI-assisted content drafting within documented human-in-the-loop workflows. Language model outputs can contain errors, omissions or inconsistencies. NeuralNarrative designs governance processes; we do not warrant the accuracy of AI-generated text. All content published externally must pass your organisation's review and approval procedures. We are not liable for content published without appropriate human review.
8. Intellectual property
All content on neuralnarrative.life, including text, narrative frameworks, arc templates, logos, design elements and advisory methodologies, is owned by NeuralNarrative Inc. or licensed to us. Engagement deliverables are provided for your internal organisational use. You may not resell, publish or redistribute our proprietary frameworks without written consent. Your pre-existing content and narrative materials remain your property.
Workshop materials and programme templates licensed to you may not be used to deliver competing narrative intelligence services to third parties without written permission.
9. Confidentiality
We treat client project information as confidential and do not disclose it to third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy or with your authorisation. You agree to keep our proprietary methodologies and non-public deliverables confidential. This obligation survives termination of the engagement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Ontario law, NeuralNarrative Inc., its directors, officers, employees and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or advisory services, including lost profits, reputational harm, business interruption or content publication errors. Our total liability for any claim arising from an engagement shall not exceed the fees paid by you for that specific engagement in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NeuralNarrative Inc. from claims, damages and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the website, violation of these Terms, content published based on AI-assisted drafts without adequate review, or your failure to comply with applicable laws including sector-specific communications regulations.
12. Third-party relationships
We may recommend or coordinate with language model providers, collaboration tool vendors and other third parties during engagements. We are not a party to your contracts with these parties and bear no responsibility for their performance, pricing, data handling or service availability. Any referral is advisory only and does not constitute an endorsement unless explicitly stated in writing.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario for disputes arising from these Terms or our services.
14. Dispute resolution
Before initiating legal proceedings, parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution through direct negotiation for thirty days. If unresolved, either party may pursue remedies available under Ontario law.
15. Termination
Either party may terminate an advisory engagement according to the terms of the engagement agreement. We may suspend website access or refuse future engagements if you breach these Terms. Provisions that by nature should survive termination — including confidentiality, limitation of liability, indemnification and governing law — shall survive.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" and "Effective from" dates indicate the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of neuralnarrative.life after changes constitutes acceptance. Active engagements are governed by the Terms in effect at the time of signing unless otherwise agreed.
